The City of Donna, Texas makes a strong comeback at ICSC 2025 in Las Vegas

For the first time in over a decade, the City of Donna, Texas actively participated in the 2025 edition of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), one of the world’s premier forums for commercial development and investment attraction. With more than 25,000 attendees including representatives from major franchises, global retailers, and real estate developers, the event, held in Las Vegas, served as a critical platform for strengthening the economic growth of the Rio Grande Valley.
Donna’s delegation, led by city officials and representatives from its 4A and 4B Economic Development Corporations, focused on promoting the city’s competitive advantages, attracting new investments, and creating opportunities for business expansion.
Throughout the event, Donna’s representatives held meetings with key business stakeholders and also strengthened ties with leaders from neighboring cities such as Weslaco, Mercedes, and Edinburg partners who share a common vision for enhancing the regional economy of the Rio Grande Valley.
The city's presence at ICSC 2025 is part of a broader economic revitalization strategy aimed at driving investment, generating jobs, and improving the quality of life for Donna residents.
