Texas and Nuevo León continue to advance a binational agenda centered on industrial expansion, competitiveness, and long-term economic development. A delegation from the Texas Business Leadership Council (TBLC) visited Nuevo León to strengthen partnerships initiated earlier in the year and to identify new avenues for collaboration across government, industry, and academia.
The engagement underscored the growing alignment between both regions and their shared commitment to building an integrated North American manufacturing and innovation corridor. Through direct dialogue with public- and private-sector stakeholders, the delegation advanced conversations focused on aligning policy, investment, talent development, and trade strategies.
Aligning Government, Industry, and Academia
Meetings with regional leaders highlighted how coordinated efforts can accelerate industrial growth on both sides of the border. Discussions emphasized the value of cross-border cooperation to attract investment, strengthen supply chains, and expand high-value manufacturing capabilities.
Engagements with Tecnológico de Monterrey, COMCE, Invest Monterrey, and the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico reinforced the importance of connecting education, trade, and investment promotion to support a competitive industrial ecosystem.
These exchanges reflect a shared understanding that sustained economic growth depends on collaboration that links talent pipelines, innovation, and market access across borders.
Building Momentum for Shared Prosperity
The visit concluded with strong confidence in the momentum achieved and the alignment among partners who share a vision for deeper binational integration. As Texas and Nuevo León continue to attract global investment, their coordinated approach positions the region to respond effectively to nearshoring, advanced manufacturing, and technology-driven growth.
Support from the State of Texas Mexico Office played a key role in facilitating dialogue and strengthening institutional ties, reinforcing the value of long-standing relationships that enable collaboration at scale.
Together, Texas and Nuevo León are laying the foundation for a more resilient, competitive, and prosperous industrial future—built on trust, cooperation, and shared opportunity.
