FABTECH 2025 officially opened at McCormick Place, marking the largest edition in the event’s history and reaffirming its role as the most important gathering for metal forming, fabrication, welding, and finishing in North America.
Over 1,700 exhibitors are presenting new technologies and solutions across more than 850,000 square feet of exhibit space, with 45,000 industry professionals expected to attend over the next four days.
Team Texas Showcases the State’s Competitive Edge
Among the highlights of the exhibition is the presence of Team Texas, a statewide coalition promoting economic development and investment opportunities. From Booth A3492, Team Texas is engaging with companies from across the globe to demonstrate why the Lone Star State has become a magnet for advanced manufacturing and supply chain investment.
Texas stands out with a $14 billion GDP in fabricated metal products, leadership in metal mining representing 32% of the U.S. cluster GDP, and a projected 21% employment growth in the automotive sector by 2032. These figures underscore the state’s strength in innovation, workforce development, and global connectivity.

This year’s FABTECH includes a broad program of conferences, panels, and networking activities. Highlights include:
- The 10th anniversary of Women of FABTECH, celebrating the role of women in manufacturing.
