Texas National Bank is solidifying its role as a key player in the economic development of the Rio Grande Valley by providing financial support to international companies seeking to establish or expand operations in the region. This, in turn, drives job creation and strengthens the growth of local businesses.
According to Michael Williamson, Executive Vice President of the bank, one of its primary commitments is to collaborate with private industry, local governments, and economic development corporations to foster a dynamic economy that directly benefits the community.
“Supporting the community is our specialty. We understand how critical it is to back the companies that are generating growth through the import and export of goods. If we don’t support them, who will?” Williamson stated.
Texas National Bank has financed between 10 and 20 percent of recent industrial investment in Pharr and other areas of the Valley—at a time when construction costs for industrial facilities continue to rise, making bank financing even more vital.
Through a variety of credit programs, the institution supports sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and retail, working closely with economic development entities to guide investors and facilitate strategic decisions that positively impact the region.
With this approach, Texas National Bank strengthens its mission to be a bridge for binational development, contributing to both social and industrial well-being.
