SERSA opens subsidiary in Santa Catarina
Seguridad Regiomontana S.A. de C.V.
(SERSA,) leading company in industrial security market in Mexico, celebrated
the opening of their new subsidiary in the municipality of Santa Catarina,
Nuevo Leon last March 15th.
The facilities are located on the
highway Monterrey Saltillo No. 700 B, corner with Manuel Ordonez, in Colonia
Bosques del Poniente.
The new store has is mostly suitable
for sales to public; it was designed with the idea of rising more brand
awareness and broadcast the new company image, as SERSA fulfilled a corporate
image change by the end of last year and one of its plans is being more present
in the west industrial area.
“Our parent company is on the east
and we wanted to be more present here.
It is a branch of more than 200 square meters which in addition of being
a showroom has a space for offices and warehouses. It is possible to find all kind of personal
protection equipment from head to toes in this store for any worker with some
kind of risk. We have equipment for
leakage control, storage, confinement, among others,” said Juan Cabrera,
general director of SERSA.
They also have other accessories in
the store such as uniforms and an exhibition of the Top 300 of the products
they manage, although SERSA has more than 4,500 items for the industrial
sector.
In addition of their two subsidiaries
in Nuevo Leon, SERSA is present in Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez, Monclova, Piedras
Negras, Saltillo and Queretaro.
“We have sale to public in all
stores but there is not enough exhibition space as in this new subsidiary. The idea is to provide a more dynamic and fun
purchase experience for our customers here, that they can come, choose and
compare their PPE, as well as request a visit or advisory on their
facilities. The idea is to attack a
small and medium final user market here in the store; better quality safety
equipment or more comfortable than industries could give them,” the executive
said.
Regarding the attributes that have
made SERSA grow, Cabrera assured that the comprehensive service, products
quality, as well as their commercial alliances with market leaders such as 3M,
JYRSA, Safe-Fit and Golden Eagle, have helped them increase their
competitiveness, specializing them in personal protection equipment.
“We are not a marketer, we are
experts on industrial safety and PPE, and we also provide a comprehensive
service to the industry. We not only
sell, we advise users on selection and use of PPE through tours on their
facilities and risk analysis; later, we implement awareness campaigns about PPE
care and safe work procedures. We
support with safety weeks, seminars in companies and an entire complete offer
on company safety,” he noted.
Finally, Juan added that as next
project they will renew their current stores with the new corporate image, as
they changed their logo and colors and they are creating internal changes to
generate higher dynamism in and outside the company.
“The idea is to settle more
subsidiaries with sales to public in the area and in central Mexico. We thank our commercial partners such as
zapato Cliff, who have supported us in this new stage and in the mission of
grabbing new markets,” he ended.
