Schneider Electric makes investment and promotes jobs with expansion at the Tlaxcala plant

Continuing with its growth plans in Mexico, Schneider Electric , a leading company in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, announced the expansion of its production plant located in the state of Tlaxcala, with the inauguration of a new warehouse that It will allow it to have greater production and storage capacity, while encouraging the commercial dynamics of the entity, generating new jobs.

The Tlaxcala plant is focused on the manufacture of materials and finished products that provide safety to electrical installations in homes and factories; Its expansion is aimed at meeting the growing demand from the company's business partners, mainly in the Mexican and North American markets.

Among the innovations incorporated in this expansion is a 9,000-square-meter warehouse, which has two levels of service to make the most of both the new production line and the space provided by the storage racks, improving the capacity of response for the elaboration and distribution of products. The space is complemented by a state-of-the-art freight elevator, which speeds up movement between aisles and levels, reaching a height of more than 15 meters, in a comprehensive and efficient environment.

Although Schneider Electric has incorporated these and other innovation elements to make its operation efficient, this has not displaced the region's talent, since, with the development of new and improved processes, the company will add 700 new jobs.

Within the framework of the inauguration, carried out jointly with the state authorities, Jesús Carmona, zone president for Mexico and Central America, pointed out that "with the investment made in the Tlaxcala plant, Schneider Electricreaffirms the commitment shown for more than 77 years with Mexico to provide comprehensive and efficient solutions. We are convinced that, through the incorporation of innovations such as those presented today, together with the talent of our collaborators, we advance in our objective of promoting the development of the industries of the future, which combine the electrical and the digital to make the most of its energy and resources, making them more efficient and sustainable, while consolidating the country as a spearhead in issues related to the fight against climate change.”

The expansion is part of the 1,300 million pesos that the company will invest throughout 2023, with the intention of strengthening Mexico as one of the most strategic markets in the region, and adds to the projects in places such as Nuevo León, Tijuana and Mexico City, through which the French company has established itself as a business partner that provides its business partners and consumers with efficient components, products and services, using the latest technology to take advantage of its resources.
