RGE Group is expanding its manufacturing footprint in North America with the launch of RGE Texas Molding, a new manufacturing facility in the San Antonio area focused on plastic injection molding, tooling, assembly and value-added manufacturing services.

The investment strengthens the company’s ability to support manufacturers across the United States and North America with local production, engineering expertise and supply chain support, while reducing lead times and providing greater flexibility in response to changing market demand.

Texas operation targets growing demand for local manufacturing

RGE Texas Molding was established to support the growing demand for domestic manufacturing and onshoring opportunities across North America.

Located in the San Antonio area, the facility provides a strategic base from which the company can offer local production and customer support while helping manufacturers optimize their supply chains.

According to RGE, customers working with the Texas operation can benefit from shorter lead times, lower inventory requirements, improved supply chain resilience, faster responses to market changes and reduced logistics and freight costs.

The facility is also planned to include large-tonnage injection molding capabilities, robotic automation systems, assembly operations, warehousing and distribution services, tooling support and manufacturing engineering.
