Penstone, Fedex and Bajío Industrial Park make new investments in Guanajuato

This Thursday, three new investments were announced for the state of Guanajuato, which are located in the municipality of Salamanca.

One of them was the start of work on the sixth warehouse in Bajío Industrial Park , as well as the inauguration of the Fedex Salamanca shipping center and the expansion of the Penstone company .

Bajío Industrial Park , had an investment of 85 million pesos, also has an area of ​​7,688 square meters, and is located on a 15,586-hectare plot. Currently, this complex has seven warehouses of 69,708 square meters that are 100 percent occupied.

Regarding Fedex Estación Salamanca , the logistics company decided to invest 3.94 million pesos, creating approximately 54 direct jobs and is based on a surface area of ​​12,968 square meters, with a distribution capacity of 4,500 packages per day.

While Penstone  is dedicated to the injection of plastic for the manufacture of side mirrors and rear-view mirrors for automotive vehicles, and is characterized by being a direct supplier of the Mazda automotive assembly company . Its production began in 2019, with the manufacture of rear-view mirrors and windshields for the Mazda 3 model, for which it currently employs 200 people and to expand its operations, it had an investment of one million dollars.
