New strategies for investment attraction: Harlingen EDC participates in economic development forum in Georgia

With the goal of continuing to promote the City of Harlingen and attract new investments, the Harlingen Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) took part in the Area Development Spring Forum, held in Savannah, Georgia. This forum is considered one of the most important national events focused on corporate site selection and economic development strategy.
HEDC’s CEO, Orlando Campos, and Director of Operations, Beverly Ticer Loftus, attended the forum to learn about the latest trends and best practices in investment attraction. They also worked to strengthen their network of strategic contacts, including corporate site consultants, real estate advisors, and leaders in the economic development sector.
During the event, HEDC representatives participated in panels and specialized sessions on topics such as supply chain transformation, key factors in site selection, logistics infrastructure, and sustainable initiatives in regional economic development.
