MZT AeroSpace Park joins the T-MEC Corridor

The institutional fund Caxxor Group and MZT AeroSpace Park signed an agreement with the aim of joining MZT AeroSpace Park in the T-MEC Corridor project to turn this binomial into a hub for attracting companies and investments.

With the above, the technological vision of MZT AeroSpace Park benefit other transport sectors such as railways, port technology and the shipyard, which is projected with the highest innovation in maritime transport.

Carlos Ortiz, general director of Caxxor Group, commented that the total investment of the master plan is 3.300 million dollars (mdd) ; and the first phase, consisting of a basic infrastructure platform, will have an investment of 1.4 billion dollars .

"The purpose of adding MZT AeroSpace Park to the infrastructure of the port, train and shipyard , strengthens and establishes a technological and production industry for all means of transportation in Sinaloa, with the aerospace park as the main anchor," he said.

Víctor García, who leads the MZT AeroSpace Park project, assured that this project began with 68 hectares , and due to the demand for land, it increased to 193 hectares , which has a three-kilometer runway and 81 private lots .

This alliance deals with two flagship projects in Sinaloa, the vision of the aerospace park is the cargo airport project that brings together the automotive and gas industry, to become an unprecedented transportation hub in Mexico.

Lino Suárez Guzmán, representative of Top Brain, explained that this strategy is a great opportunity for the development of the aerospace industry in Mexico, since it is considered a potential economy, in addition to being the sixth supplier for the United States and the country occupies 14th place in this sector.

“There is great support and involvement on the part of the federal, state and municipal governments to develop the logistics infrastructure. As for infrastructure investments in the Lino Suárez park, we can consider 50 million dollars plus the value of the track for 100 million dollars more, "he said.

The general director of Caxxor Group, reported that for the construction of the T-MEC Corridor , the logistics development plans to connect a new port in Sinaloa, cross the United States and reach Canada, for which the construction of the consortium that will integrate the project.
