McAllen EDC Strengthens Leadership and Workforce Development in Manufacturing and Technology Sectors

Human resources leaders and professionals from McAllen, Texas, manufacturing, technology, and logistics companies participated in the "Leadership Development Workshop," an event designed to enhance leadership skills and improve the performance of the local workforce.
The event, organized by the McAllen Economic Development Corporation (McAllen EDC) in collaboration with the Employers Association, Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center, and Management Training Solutions, featured workshops and activities addressing key workforce issues. Topics included "The Seven Mistakes Leaders Make" and the importance of "Management by Objectives."
Recognizing the impact of the region's bilingual workforce, a Spanish-language "Leadership Workshop" was also offered.
Throughout the event, participants gained valuable knowledge and practices focused on optimizing team management and achieving organizational goals—essential topics for businesses.
Notable companies in attendance included Bettcher Manufacturing, CL Scales and Systems, Garza and Hernandez Engineering, Kings Eco Plastics, McAllen Foreign Trade Zone, Protrans International, and Cinch Connectivity Solutions.
