Majestic Realty Invests $100M in 1-Million-Square-Foot Project in Pharr, Texas

Majestic Realty, in partnership with the Pharr Economic Development Corporation (Pharr EDC), has broken ground on a new 1-million-square-foot warehouse at the Majestic International Trade Port industrial park in Pharr, Texas.

This development, serving MasterBrand, represents a $100 million investment by Majestic Realty, aimed at providing storage and distribution facilities. The project is expected to create over 300 jobs in the Rio Grande Valley.

Al Sorrels, Senior Vice President of Majestic Realty, emphasized the project’s significance during the groundbreaking ceremony, describing it as “the result of a collaborative effort to generate new business opportunities in the region, particularly in the logistics and distribution sectors. This industrial park will offer facilities for manufacturing and distribution companies, with capabilities for both cold and dry storage. We look forward to seeing it grow in the coming years.”

600 Acres Available for Logistics and Industry

The Majestic International Trade Port spans over 600 acres, providing ample space for future projects and addressing the increasing demand in the commercial and logistics sectors. Additionally, it will enhance international trade, solidifying the region’s role as a key hub for commerce between Mexico and the United States.

Victor Pérez, CEO of Pharr EDC, highlighted Pharr’s strategic importance as a destination for investment. “Majestic Realty has shown a strong commitment to the growth of Pharr and the region. This new investment not only brings world-class infrastructure but will also generate more than 300 direct jobs, significantly contributing to economic development,” said Pérez.

The groundbreaking event was attended by local authorities, business leaders, and representatives from companies involved in the project, including Peinado Construction, Downs Design Solutions, Cardinal Industrial Real Estate Services, and Artemis Real Estate Partners.
