Laguna Industrial Park begins its construction in Matamoros

The economic development of the Laguna de Coahuila Region continues its exponential growth and this time it was the municipality of Matamoros where the first stone of Laguna Industrial Park was laid, whose investment is 500 million pesos.
The construction of this industrial park will increase the capacity of the 16 already operating in La Laguna, as it meets the conditions of equipment and infrastructure.
Raúl Albéniz Franco, project manager Laguna Industrial Park, explained that he will be on a 50-hectare site and has other projects ranging from 1 to 4 hectares.
He explained that the main vocation of the park is the industry that goes from light to medium, and that the project is built under Official Mexican Standard 046-2015 - for last generation industrial parks - and here 15,000 jobs could be generated.
"Sustainability, ecological preservation, the rational use of electrical energy and the creation of optimal conditions for industries, were criteria that were taken into account for construction," he shared.
Laguna Industrial Park will have wooded green areas, security booths and controlled accesses, multipurpose court, fire station, park maintenance office and LED-type luminaires.
In the services, there will be a potable water network, fire fighting network, infrastructure for the discharge of wastewater, electricity distribution network and natural gas network, among others.
“This effort was achieved with the initiative of lagoon entrepreneurs and the support of state and municipal authorities, who were decisive in this project,” he acknowledged.
For his part, Miguel Ángel Riquelme, governor of Coahuila, recognized the businessman Raúl Albéniz and pointed out that this is what is needed, investors who continue to bet on the entity and continue generating jobs.
“This park is constituted as one of the 80 that exist in the entity and strengthens those who come to invest; It has a good geographical location within the productive sphere, ”said the state leader.
For his part, Jaime Guerra Pérez, Secretary of Economy of the state, said that the success of companies in Coahuila is definitive for the industrial parks.
In this way, the 80 industrial parks that operate in Coahuila are the main instruments to promote the development of the industry.
