Index Coahuila Norte reaffirmed its role as a key connector within the manufacturing sector in the border region, highlighting the importance of building strategic partnerships with stakeholders in logistics, foreign trade, and industrial supply chains.
During her participation in the North America Manufacturing Expo & Summit, held in San Antonio, Texas, Karina Rodríguez Villarreal, Director of Index Coahuila Norte, emphasized that events like this help strengthen binational collaboration, particularly given the close ties with San Antonio and the Piedras Negras region—one of the most dynamic industrial hubs in northern Mexico.
“We see great value in participating in these types of events, where key players such as logistics companies, brokers, and warehouse operators come together, strengthening supply chain integration,” she noted.
Rodríguez Villarreal also highlighted the organization’s active role at the national level, including the participation of Jael Durán, Director of Index Nacional, and Israel Morales, Director of the Mexico–United States Affairs Committee, who addressed strategic topics such as international trade, manufacturing, and global trends—reinforcing Index’s presence within the North American industrial ecosystem.
In this context, Rodríguez Villarreal announced the Index Summit 2026, scheduled for June 5 in Eagle Pass, Texas, an event that will bring together more than 45 IMMEX companies from northern Coahuila.
The summit aims to strengthen connections between manufacturing companies and strategic suppliers, creating business opportunities and fostering direct collaboration between industry players and those seeking to integrate into their value chains.
“The Summit will feature panels, conferences, and key topics such as USMCA, foreign trade, customs, and manufacturing trends, providing high-value insights for participating companies,” she explained.
Companies affiliated with Index Nacional in this region are located in municipalities such as Monclova, Ciudad Acuña, and Piedras Negras, forming an industrial cluster with strong growth potential and investment attraction capabilities.
Additionally, the director noted that the event will also be open to strategic partners and suppliers interested in joining the industry, who will be able to participate through exhibition spaces to showcase their services and solutions.
“The goal is to create a space where companies can do business directly, connecting suppliers with the manufacturing industry,” she added.
Index Coahuila Norte’s participation in the North America Manufacturing Expo & Summit, along with the upcoming Summit, reflects the dynamism of the IMMEX sector along the northern border and its key role in strengthening more integrated and competitive supply chains in the region.
