IBC Bank Champions Women’s Leadership at the 2025 Laredo Women’s Forum

IBC Bank reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women in business and the community by serving as a presenting partner of the 2025 Laredo Women’s Forum, held on July 31. Organized by the Laredo Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Visa, the sold-out event welcomed more than 300 professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from across the region.

The forum was a dynamic platform for sharing experiences, discussing challenges, and inspiring future leaders. Throughout the day, participants engaged in conversations on leadership, resilience, and innovation, with a strong emphasis on building supportive networks for women in diverse industries.

Inspiring Voices from the Stage

The program featured prominent speakers, including Kimberly Lawrence, President of Visa North America; Dr. Mery J. Cortes–Bergoderi of Gateway Community Health Center; Martha Cigarroa, Partner at Whitworth Cigarroa, PLLC; Sandra Alaniz, Broker/Owner of REMAX in Laredo & Eagle Pass; and Dalia Martinez, Executive Vice President at IBC Bank.

In her address, Martinez shared insights from her career journey and emphasized the importance of mentorship, perseverance, and active engagement in the community. Her message resonated with attendees, reinforcing IBC Bank’s dedication to fostering opportunities for professional and personal growth.
