Harlingen EDC Boosts Workforce Development at Texas Workforce Commission Annual Conference

The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Harlingen, Texas, participated in the “TWC Annual Workforce Conference 2024,” a key event organized by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). This annual conference brings together business leaders, educational authorities, and economic organizations to promote workforce training and enhance regional competitiveness.

Jane Lozano, Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Manager at Harlingen EDC, stood out during the event by engaging in networking sessions and activities focused on promoting key workforce skills. These initiatives, in collaboration with Workforce Solutions Cameron, aim to bridge the gap between educational training and the real needs of industries, ensuring workers have the tools necessary to adapt to a constantly evolving labor market.
