Industrial automation continues to accelerate its adoption in Texas, driven by advances in robotics, visual intelligence and smart manufacturing. In this scenario, GEA of Texas used the South Central Texas Manufacturing Trade Show & Conference to present new technology solutions focused on transforming industrial processes.
Nick Vargo, Vision and Robotics Engineer at the company, highlighted that GEA of Texas participated in the event to strengthen relationships with industrial clients and showcase new technologies that are already beginning to gain ground in the Texas market.
“We are here presenting new strategic partnerships and technologies focused on industrial automation, especially robotics and advanced vision systems,” he explained.
New ABB Robotics distributor in Texas
One of the most relevant announcements from GEA of Texas’ participation was its incorporation as a new distributor in Texas for ABB Robotics, one of the world’s leading brands in industrial robotics.
“We are now the new home of ABB Robotics in Texas. We are presenting one of their industrial robots here at the expo,” Vargo said.
The alliance strengthens the company’s capacity to offer robotic solutions to manufacturers and logistics centers seeking to automate critical processes.
3D vision technology for smart manufacturing
In addition to industrial robotics, the company presented a new three-dimensional camera developed by Photoneo, designed to improve precision and efficiency in automated environments.
“We are showing a 3D camera that makes it possible to visualize objects and processes in a three-dimensional space, something key for advanced automation applications,” he explained.
This technology is especially useful in production lines, automated inspection and robotic systems that require greater precision.
Robotics will grow rapidly in Texas
For Nick Vargo, the automation and robotics market in Texas is entering a stage of strong expansion.
“We definitely want to drive robotics because we see it as one of the fastest-growing segments in Texas in the coming years. We want to be on the front line from the beginning,” he said.
Solutions for manufacturing and logistics
The technologies promoted by GEA of Texas are mainly focused on manufacturing, warehousing and industrial operations where automation can generate immediate improvements in productivity.
The company’s participation in the South Central Texas Manufacturing Trade Show & Conference confirms how robotics and artificial vision are no longer technologies of the future, but key tools for today’s industrial sector.
