Expansion Initiative: Metalistik Invests in Aguascalientes Plant Growth

Metalistik, a prominent player in the automotive sector, has announced a substantial investment of $2 million to expand its plant located in San Francisco de los Romo, Aguascalientes, marking the company's 10th anniversary. This expansion initiative is expected to generate 50 new direct job opportunities and is set to be completed within the year 2024.
Esaú Garza De la Vega, head of SEDECyT, commended Metalistik's remarkable journey to international acclaim, attributing much of its success to the visionary leadership of engineer Humberto Sánchez. He underscored Sánchez's instrumental role in positioning Metalistik as a key supplier in demanding industries like automotive.
Humberto Sánchez Sandoval, President and CEO of Metalistik, emphasized the company's impressive annual growth rate of 35%, highlighting its expansion into international markets such as the United States, Italy, Japan, China, and South Korea. Metalistik's clientele spans diverse sectors including automotive, electronics, agribusiness, military, and appliances.
Governor Tere Jiménez of Aguascalientes lauded the state's skilled workforce and commitment to excellence, stating, "The people of the state have an art for doing things, and we must always strive to do them to the best of our ability. We want to be part of the ongoing investments, and therefore, we must demonstrate the quality of what is done in Aguascalientes."
Sánchez detailed the focus of the new investment, which will center on developing a new paint line project in a facility spanning over 2,500 square meters. This project, scheduled to begin in July, aims to enhance Metalistik's production capabilities, further solidifying its commitment to innovation and growth.
Metalistik's expansion initiative underscores its dedication to advancing Aguascalientes' industrial landscape, contributing to economic development, and job creation in the region.
