El Paso Welcomes the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Nearshoring Summit with Leaders from Mexico, the U.S., and Canada

El Paso will host the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Nearshoring Summit 2026, an industrial gathering designed to strengthen business connections, supplier development and regional manufacturing integration across the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Scheduled for October 22 at the El Paso Convention Center, the event will feature an industrial exhibition, pre-arranged business meetings, conferences and networking opportunities for companies operating throughout the North American manufacturing ecosystem. 

The summit comes as manufacturers continue to evaluate strategies for shortening supply chains, increasing regional sourcing and improving operational resilience. El Paso’s connection with Ciudad Juárez and northern Mexico makes the region a strategic location for companies seeking suppliers, production capabilities, logistics solutions and cross-border investment opportunities.

Global companies and regional leaders

The announced program includes executives and representatives from global manufacturers, financial institutions, government agencies, business organizations and economic development entities.

Organizations represented at the event include Kia México, Tecma, Schneider Electric, Santander, Honeywell Aerospace, BBVA, Phinia, Siemens, Microsoft, Eaton, Flex, Valeo, Safran, Bombardier, Baker McKenzie, Index and the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center, among others.

Regional and public-sector participants will include representatives from El Paso County, the City of El Paso, the City of Juárez, the U.S. Commercial Service, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, American Chamber México and border business organizations.

The agenda is expected to address key issues affecting North American manufacturing, including supplier development, cross-border logistics, workforce availability, technology adoption, financing, investment attraction and supply chain competitiveness.

A central component of the summit will be its pre-arranged meeting program, which is intended to create direct conversations between manufacturers, buyers, service providers and potential suppliers.
