Edinburg to Host Skilled Trades Job Fair Connecting Employers and Local Talent

The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with Workforce Solutions and RGV Operation Get Hired, will host the Tools & Talent: Skilled Trades Job Fair, an event designed to connect job seekers with employers hiring across key industries in the Rio Grande Valley.

The job fair will takeplace on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Edinburg Activity Center, located at 123 Mark S. Peña Drive in Edinburg, Texas.

The event will bring together companies, public agencies, educational institutions, workforce organizations, and service providers representing fields such as welding, HVAC, manufacturing, construction, transportation, mechanics, infrastructure, andtechnical services.

Participating organizations are expected to include:

The job fair is intended for experienced tradespeople, individuals beginning their careers, students completing technical training, and workers seeking new employment opportunities. Attendees are encouraged to bring updated résumés and be prepared to speak directly with recruiters and company representatives.

Skilled trades continue to play a central role in the Rio Grande Valley’s economic growth by supporting manufacturing, construction, logistics, infrastructure, automotive services, and industrial development.

Through this event, the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation and its partners aim to strengthen connections between regional employers and the skilled workforce needed to support business expansion and long-term economic development.
