Over the past two weeks, the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) has actively engaged in high-profile forums in Mexico, promoting the city’s strengths as a destination for investment and business expansion.
These efforts highlight Edinburg’s strategic location in South Texas, its modern infrastructure, and its growing business ecosystem, positioning the city as a competitive hub in the U.S.–Mexico region.
Participation in Major Business Forums
EEDC joined Mexico Industry Supply Chain in Puebla, where it presented Edinburg’s value proposition to industry leaders and supply chain experts seeking efficient connections to the U.S. market.
The team also took part in Let’s Do Business in Texas in Monterrey, an event hosted in partnership with Rio South Texas (COSTEP), reinforcing binational alliances and showcasing the city as a premier destination for Mexican companies seeking to expand across the border.
In addition, EEDC participated in Expo Franquicia Guadalajara, Mexico’s leading franchise expo, where it connected with entrepreneurs and established brands exploring opportunities for growth in the Texas market.
Building Lasting Partnerships for Growth
Through these engagements, Edinburg demonstrated its commitment to fostering collaborative economic growth and building long-term partnerships across borders. Each participation reflects the city’s broader mission to strengthen binational relations and drive investment in sectors that create prosperity for the region.
By positioning itself in key forums on both sides of the border, Edinburg is advancing its vision of becoming a leading hub for innovation, business development, and cross-border collaboration.
