In a joint effort to boost collaboration and economic development between the United States and Mexico, the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CANACINTRA) of Río Bravo have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The agreement was formalized during a visit by a CANACINTRA Río Bravo delegation to the city of Edinburg, where they were welcomed by local leaders, including EDC Executive Director Raudel Garza; Mayor Ramiro Garza, Jr.; Board Members Gregory Vasquez and Marc Moran; and International Business Consultant Jeffrey Salcedo.

During the meeting, representatives from both organizations discussed future opportunities to strengthen industrial and trade cooperation, as well as to promote economic growth in both regions. The Río Bravo delegation was led by Gerardo Martínez, CANACINTRA President, along with Vice President Enrique Ramos and Director of Industrial Development Fátima Ontiveros, among other members.
