E.GO will build an electric vehicle plant in Mexico

German electric vehicle manufacturer e.GO plans to enter the Mexican market with the construction of an automotive plant in Mexico .
To achieve this, the company will cooperate with the Grupo Quimmco industrial consortium of Monterrey, Mexico, specifically with Questum , which is its subsidiary company.
E.GO's micro-factory is ready for the 5G network and is perfectly adapted not only to serve the growing Mexican market, but also to supply spare parts to other company facilities in the Americas.
Additionally, it is set to produce one of the most sustainable Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) , which is why e.GO is leveraging its modular and scalable factory.
In addition, the company has developed a disruptive production model based on Industry 4.0 (Internet of Production) that reduces investment requirements and time to market, while ensuring highly efficient production with a low breakeven point.
The decentralized production system , combined with Questum's expertise, will contribute to the local economy and help create job opportunities.
To highlight, Questum is the strategic and technological partner for the local market with access not only to the territory but also to key customers and large automotive fleets. With e.GO vehicles , Quimmco plans to electrify vehicle fleets across the country.
