The Regional Freight Transport Training and Development Center (CTC, by its acronym in spanish), located in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, trains men and women every day at the Tamaulipas-Texas border to become fifth-wheel operators and integrate them into Mexico's fastest-growing sectors: transportation and logistics.

The programs offered, which are backed by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transport (SICT), cover essential topics such as vehicle ignition and operation, road safety measures, technical and operational terminology, as well as the use of technological tools that allow operators to meet the demands of companies.

“The program we offer to new operators is backed by authorities. We promote the professionalization of drivers by providing them with practical tools and knowledge to achieve their goals,” emphasized Nancy Castillo Sánchez, legal representative of CTC.

To enroll in the school, the only requirement is a genuine interest in becoming an operator and a commitment to completing 196 hours of training, divided between theory and practice. Sessions follow a learning process that can be completed within a month and a half, depending on the student's availability.

Personalized classes ensure efficient training, tailored to meet the needs of international trade and its routes.

Value Added

Among the competitive advantages offered by CTC is the direct training of personnel from logistics companies, strengthening their transportation departments, as well as providing advice on foreign trade-related procedures, such as driving licenses and medical exams.

“One of the added values we provide is the timely follow-up with our graduates. We want to know how they are doing, where they are working, and how they’ve progressed. It’s gratifying to know that they have achieved their professional goals, traveling to cities like New York or Chicago as operators, and that they are also supporting their families,” concluded Castillo.

CTC has more than 20 years of experience, with students from various regions of Mexico and Central America.

The impact of its programs reaches an average of 250 people annually, and one of its goals for 2025 is to open new calls for applicants to meet the growing demand from logistics and transportation companies.
