City of Laredo, Texas, Announces New Bridge System Director

The City of Laredo is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Elsa Hinojosa as the new Bridge System Director. Following a rigorous and competitive selection process, Ms. Hinojosa was chosen for her exceptional leadership, adaptability, and extensive experience in key interim director roles within the organization.

Ms. Hinojosa has demonstrated outstanding management capabilities while serving as Interim Director for both the Laredo Animal Care Services and Building Departments. Her ability to oversee complex operations, foster collaboration, and implement strategic improvements has solidified her reputation as a dedicated and results-driven leader.

In her new role as Bridge System Director, Ms. Hinojosa will be responsible for overseeing the continued success of Laredo’s International Bridge System. She will ensure the efficiency of operations and work to advance the city’s trade and transportation priorities. Her leadership will play a vital role in strengthening this critical department and enhancing its impact on the region.
