Chihuahua Global EDC is reinforcing its role as a nonprofit, investor-focused EDO dedicated to guiding national and international companies through a smooth landing in the state. Executive Director Mario Juárez described the organization as a “full-support platform” that provides data, site assistance, tailored business agendas, and access to a complete network of legal, financial, and industrial partners.
“We support companies with everything they need to make informed decisions—industrial costs, labor data, site selection, tours, and a dedicated executive 24/7,” said Juárez.
“Our goal is simple: to make their arrival in Chihuahua as smooth and strategic as possible.”
He emphasized their global footprint, working with the Government of Chihuahua, the municipalities of Chihuahua and Ciudad Juárez, Borderplex in El Paso, and agencies such as JETRO and KOTRA. Their memberships with the Japan Semiconductor Association, Arizona Technology Council, and Global Chamber Arizona expand the region’s reach into high-value sectors like semiconductors.
“We are part of the international semiconductor conversation,” Juárez noted.
“Design, assembly, test, and packaging—those are opportunities we are actively targeting.”
Chihuahua Global also frames the region as “two countries, three regions”—Texas, New Mexico, and Chihuahua functioning as one unified industrial corridor for companies with binational operations.
“There are projects that place one division in El Paso or New Mexico and another in Ciudad Juárez,”he explained. “It’s a win-win model for supply chains on both sides.”
Key Highlights
• Full investor support at no cost: data, site selection, business agendas, tours, legal and operational guidance.
• 24/7 executive assigned to each project.
• Priority sectors: aerospace, electronics, medical devices, automotive, semiconductors, and electromobility.
• Strong binational alignment with Texas and New Mexico.
• International partnerships expanding investment pipelines.
Participating in major industry events remains essential to Chihuahua Global’s strategy, both to grow its membership base and to connect with companies actively seeking to establish operations in Mexico. Their presence at these forums allows them to demonstrate how the agency simplifies market entry and provides a cohesive support structure for new investors.
