Brownsville Courts Nuevo León Investors at 'Café con Texas'

Representatives from the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation (GBIC) and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Commercialization and Training Center highlighted Brownsville’s potential for investment and growth during the "Café con Texas" event in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Organized by the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) and the World Trade Center Monterrey, the event aimed to strengthen cross-border business relations.
GBIC and UTRGV representatives emphasized key aspects such as the availability of industrial land, the growth of the logistics sector, and the local skilled workforce. They also presented a range of business tools, including tax incentives, personalized consulting, and tailored growth plans in collaboration with UTRGV.
GBIC officials reported that new connections with potential investors were established, opening the door to future expansion projects for Mexican businesses. The event underscored Brownsville’s ongoing commitment to attracting foreign investment and fostering economic development along the border.
