Audi Mexico reaches record number of the Audi Q5 produced in Puebla

Five years after starting production at the San José Chiapa, Puebla plant, Audi Mexico reached 750,000 units of the Audi Q5 model in all its derivatives.

The Mexican plant has an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles  which are shipped all over the world, with the exception of China.

With the talent and dedication of all the collaborators who are in charge of aligning themselves with the strict standards of the Audi Group , for the production of a high quality car, the San José Chiapa plant has manufactured more than 750,000 units, made in Mexico and respecting the culture of “ Made by Audi ”. 

It is in this way that the German company puts Mexican talent and passion at the center of the attention of the automotive industry worldwide. 

Tarek Mashhour, executive president of Audi Mexico, stated that the 750,000 Audi Q5s produced in Puebla are a sample of the strategy and performance they have as an automotive factory. 

“Audi México is a strong, competitive company that counts on the talent of all its collaborators. That is the spirit that makes us successful. With this plant, and the great Mexican passion, we have managed to be the pioneers in the production of premium cars in the country ”, he stated.

Audi Mexico celebrates its first five years of production in Mexico looking to the future, with a firm step in sustainability, in the development of the region and in search of maximum efficiency , to place itself at the level of the best factories in the entire group, in order to continue promoting production with the best technology to keep the world moving.
