Starr-Camargo Bridge Company Advances Cross-Border Collaboration at Mexico-U.S. Summit

Representatives from Starr-Camargo Bridge Company participated in the “Mexico-U.S. Leaders Summit: A High-Level Binational Dialogue,” an event organized by the American Chamber of Commerce Mexico, Monterrey Chapter (AmCham), in collaboration with Grupo CIL. Held in Brownsville, Texas, the summit served as a platform to strengthen alliances with authorities and business organizations from both Mexico and the RioPlex region, which encompasses the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and northern Tamaulipas.
The event provided an opportunity for Starr-Camargo Bridge Company to promote the Starr-Camargo International Bridge as a key competitive asset of the RioPlex region. Beatriz Castro, International Affairs Officer, and Robert Vale, Vice President of Commercial Development at Starr-Camargo Bridge Company, expressed their gratitude for the invitation and emphasized the critical role borders play in North American competitiveness and enhancing trade opportunities under the USMCA framework.
During their participation, Starr-Camargo Bridge Company reaffirmed its commitment to advancing infrastructure development and modernizing operations to ensure more efficient cross-border trade.
The summit’s agenda included panels focused on binational partnerships and the industrial growth of sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, agriculture, and perishable goods trade. Discussions also touched on the development of new infrastructure, commercial facilitation, and logistics, as well as key strategies for strengthening the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
