Manufacturing IT Summit 2024: Index Nacional Launches First National Index Cybersecurity Center in Reynosa, Tamaulipas

At the Manufacturing IT Summit 2024 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Index Nacional, in partnership with the Instituto Internacional de Estudios Superiores (IIES), announced the launch of the first National Index Cybersecurity Center.

This center aims to strengthen digital security within the manufacturing industry by providing solutions, assistance, and risk prevention strategies, noted Humberto Martínez, President of Index Nacional.

Promoted as a non-profit organization focused on technology and cybersecurity, the center is designed to provide the Index community with a stable digital environment to help protect manufacturing companies from cyberattacks, emphasized Agustín Tiburcio, Director of the Information Technology Committee at Index Nacional.

The Manufacturing IT Summit 2024 featured several presentations highlighting the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity practices, with key industry leaders in attendance, including Fernando Ortiz, professor and IT advisor at Index Nacional; Víctor Anzures, Business Informatics Manager; Ricardo Rodríguez, SMTelcom Manager; Cristóbal Cardenas from White Suit Hacking; Hugo Karr, President of the IT Committee at Index Reynosa; Mario Ramírez, Director at Sistemax; and Jose Beltran from the company 27000.

The event was also attended by prominent figures, including Rosendo Martínez Gómez, Founder of IIES; Miguel Tinoco, IIES Rector; Alfredo Guajardo, Vice President of Index Reynosa; and Luis Méndez, director of Index Reynosa.
