The South Central Texas Manufacturing Trade Show & Conference consolidated its position as one of the most relevant events for the industrial sector in Texas, bringing together nearly 180 exhibitors and around 2,000 attendees in its 25th edition, held in San Antonio.
The event, organized by the San Antonio Manufacturing Association, had the main objective of strengthening the connection between local manufacturers and the companies that make up their value chain, from suppliers to specialized service providers.
Mikal Harn, a board member of the association, highlighted that this edition has been the most successful so far, reflecting the momentum currently shaping the manufacturing industry in the region.
“This is our best year. We are very excited to see so many people participating. There is great enthusiasm around the growth of manufacturing in San Antonio and the opportunities to grow businesses,” Harn said.
A space to innovate and grow
During the event, attendees had access to conferences focused on key topics for business competitiveness, including organizational culture, performance measurement and the adoption of new technologies.
Among the main topics were:
- Cybersecurity applied to industry
- Strategic use of artificial intelligence
- New manufacturing techniques
- Tools to improve productivity
The event not only allowed participants to learn about trends, but also to generate business opportunities and networking among established companies and new players in the sector.
Opportunities for the future
Harn emphasized the importance of attendees making the most of these spaces, especially in a context where innovation and collaboration are key to industrial growth.
“The best recommendation is to get involved, connect with new people and explore what is new in manufacturing. We have both new exhibitors and companies that have participated for years, which creates a very enriching environment,” he said.
With record participation and an agenda centered on innovation, the 25th South Central Texas Manufacturing Trade Show & Conference reaffirms San Antonio’s role as a strategic hub for manufacturing development in Texas and the southern United States.
