Investment of $20 Million in Torreon for the Periferico Business Park

Today the first stone of the Periférico Business Park was laid, a project that will benefit companies that require an industrial space, warehouse or distribution and logistics center in Torreón, Coahuila.
During the event, it was reported that 20 million dollars will be invested, this park will have 39 industrial lots and two macro lots, providing employment to more than 450 people.
It should be said that the Business Park will be located in the northern area, the fastest growing area of the city, with quick access to the Raúl López Sánchez peripheral, which connects with any point in Torreón.
Industrial space
Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís, governor of Coahuila, “is a project that will house any company that requires an industrial space, warehouse or distribution and logistics center in Torreón, Coahuila.”
In turn, Diego Alonso Salum, director of the Project, considered that this is the best time to invest in Torreón and that several large-scale industrial parks are being built, where investors rent warehouses immediately.
He added that planning began 18 months ago and the creation of industrial warehouses, as well as two commercial plazas, is contemplated.
Investment number 67
For his part, Claudio Bres Garza, Secretary of Economy in Coahuila, said that it is the 67th investment this year, the 50th announcement for the lagoon region so far this six-year term.
According to the governor, today marks the 67th investment in Coahuila, while in the current six-year term in La Laguna it is the 50th investment announcement.
“Today we are seeing how the economy of the Laguna region is growing, which is due to many factors: a climate of stability, social peace, security, and above all, that we have taken advantage of the growth in economic development among the entire society” , concluded the governor.
