Empowering Women: Corning’s Choices Initiative Inspires STEM Careers in Reynosa

To strengthen the female workforce in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, particularly in specialized fields like Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Corning Incorporated launched the second edition of its Choices program.

Targeting students, the initiative seeks to inspire young women to pursue STEM-related careers. Additionally, Corning facilitates leadership development and decision-making skills through partnerships and educational scholarships with various academic institutions.

The opening ceremony welcomed educational authorities, government representatives, and Corning executives.

This year’s program gathered over 100 high school students from different grades, who participated in workshops and activities designed to build interest and skills in STEM disciplines.
