Edinburg EDC Will Be Present at EXPO PYME Monterrey 2026
August 25, 2026
The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (Edinburg EDC) will participate in EXPO PYME Monterrey 2026, taking place September 8–10 at CINTERMEX in Monterrey, Nuevo León, as part of its continued efforts to strengthen cross-border business relationships and attract new investment to the Rio Grande Valley.
Representing Edinburg EDC, International Business Development Consultant Jeffrey Salcedo will participate as a speaker with the session “Expande correctamente tu empresa regiomontana a Texas.”
The presentation will focus on the opportunities available to companies and entrepreneurs from Monterrey that are evaluating an expansion into Texas, with particular attention to the Rio Grande Valley and Edinburg as a potential destination for business growth and investment.
Through its participation at EXPO PYME, Edinburg EDC aims to connect directly with companies interested in entering or expanding within the U.S. market, while highlighting the strategic advantages the region offers for businesses looking to establish operations in South Texas.
The initiative also reflects the growing importance of economic ties between Nuevo León and Texas, particularly as companies continue to evaluate new locations, customers, suppliers, and investment opportunities on both sides of the border.
For Edinburg EDC, participation in events such as EXPO PYME represents an opportunity to promote the city directly among business owners and decision-makers, while building relationships that can translate into future investment and expansion projects.
From Monterrey to Edinburg, the organization’s message is clear: companies considering their next stage of growth in Texas can find new opportunities in the Rio Grande Valley.
EXPO PYME Monterrey 2026 will be held from September 8–10 at CINTERMEX in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
