Edinburg EDC Highlights Expansion Opportunities for Monterrey Companies at Expo Pyme Monterrey

The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (Edinburg EDC) participated in Expo Pyme Monterrey to present entrepreneurs and business leaders from Nuevo León with opportunities and resources available to companies seeking to establish operations in Texas, highlighting the support provided through its Soft Landing model.
During the event, Jeffrey Salcedo, International Business Developer at Edinburg EDC, delivered the keynote presentation “Expand Your Monterrey-Based Company into Texas the Right Way,” outlining key considerations for companies looking to enter the U.S. market and presenting Edinburg as a strategic option for businesses seeking to establish a presence in Texas.
A key focus of the presentation was the Soft Landing process, through which Edinburg EDC supports companies throughout the different stages of their expansion. Salcedo highlighted the tools, business ecosystem and opportunities available to help companies navigate the process, from initial planning and market exploration to establishing and opening operations.
Edinburg EDC’s participation generated strong interest among attendees. Following the presentation, the Q&A session continued for nearly an hour, with business owners raising questions and discussing specific projects related to potential expansion into Texas. The discussion provided an opportunity to address some of the challenges companies face when entering a new market and underscored the value of having specialized support throughout the expansion process.
