Edinburg EDC and CANACINTRA Rio Bravo Sign Cross-Border Partnership to Strengthen Regional Collaboration

New agreement promotes dialogue and cooperation between South Texas and northern Tamaulipas.
The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) formalized a new cross-border partnership with CANACINTRA Rio Bravo, in an event led by Municipal President Miguel Ángel Almaraz Maldonado.
The signing ceremony represents an effort to foster regional dialogue, explore opportunities for collaboration, and strengthen ties between the industrial and business communities of both cities.
Aaron Rivera, President of the EEDC Board of Directors, participated in the event, marking an important step in building long-term relationships with counterparts in northern Mexico.
Toward Binational Economic Cooperation
This new agreement reflects a shared interest in promoting business-friendly environments on both sides of the border. While specific initiatives will develop over time, the partnership opens the door to potential cooperation in areas such as:
- Support for local enterprises
- Networking and exchange between business communities
- Promotion of regional competitiveness
