Ecoat.us to Invest $6 Million to Expand Operations in Mission

Ecoat.us announced a $6 million investment to expand its operations in Mission,Texas, a project that is expected to create 45 new jobs while retaining 80 existing positions in the city, according to information from the Mission Economic DevelopmentCorporation (Mission EDC).The new positions are expected to pay an average of $19 per hour.

The expansion isintended to increase Ecoat.us’ operating capacity in Mission; however, details regardingthe size of the expansion, construction timeline and hiring schedule have not yet beenpublicly disclosed.Ecoat.us specializes in industrial coating solutions for components and equipment,offering technologies that include electrocoat (E-Coat), liquid coating, powdercoating and corrosion-protection processes.

Through the new investment, Ecoat.us will expand its South Texas capacity andstrengthen its infrastructure to serve manufacturers and industrial sectors requiringcomponent protection against corrosion and demanding operating environments.

The company serves markets including oil and gas, HVAC, water and wastewater, andheavy industrial applications.
