companies to invest 37 million dollars in the State
A delegation of Asian businessmen from 16 companies of
the manufacture Industry visited Nuevo Leon to expand their market niches and
fulfill new investments.
Led by Han Zhigen, leader of the Association of
Thermal Treatment Companies, the expedition gathered with the interim governor,
Manuel Gonzalez Flores and Samuel Pena Guzman, undersecretary of Investment and
Industrial Promotion. “The economic
conditions of Nuevo Leon political and social with provide important results in
the investment of employment and in the advance of all senses for you who are
visiting us today and for us receiving you with open arms,” said the state
official to the businessmen.
The undersecretary of Investment and Industrial
Promotion announced that this year, two companies from Chinese origin will be
located in Nuevo Leon and will make a joint investment by 37 million dollars,
generating about 510 jobs.
Indicated that up to date there are 18 projects in
negotiation process to be established in the upcoming two days, with an
investment of 1,700 million dollars, that will create 12,550 jobs.
The governor said that Nuevo Leon offers competitive
advantages for the investment such as qualified workforce, geographic location
and study centers.
He emphasized that the State has a quarterly growth of
4.5 %, well above the national average which is of 1.3 percent.
He underlined that annually, Nuevo Leon receives a
foreign investment of 6,500 million dollars and has an unemployment rate of 3.3
%, which in real terms equals to zero rate.
Exports in the State are of 36 thousand million
dollars a year, said the governor, adding that they are about to eradicate
extreme poverty, a unique case in the country.
The delegation visited the State through Hofusan,
Chinese Industrial Park located in the municipality of Salinas Victoria.
