On June 9, 2022, the Aptiv company began operations at its third plant, which is located in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

With this opening there are already six Aptiv  plants in Tamaulipas, so the special date was marked on the calendar with the official opening of the company in the state.

The North American company invested more than 50 million dollars and will generate more than 2,500 jobs, its production is focused on wiring and harnesses for vehicles.

It is worth mentioning that thanks to the work with the federal, state and local governments, this investment was consolidated, which will allow economic growth and development, not only in Nuevo Laredo, but also in the region.
