ABB MXTEC inaugurates Engineering Development Center in Yucatan

Recently, the ABB MXTEC Engineering Development Center was inaugurated in Yucatan, which represented an investment of two million dollars and is dedicated to providing support in automation systems, electrification, software, electrical engineering and development .

The head of the Ministry of Economic Development and Labor (Sefoet), Ernesto Herrera Novelo, said that the incorporation of women into the field of information technology is promoted, for which reason his administration offers 100% scholarships to those who want to study a career related and visit high schools to encourage more young people to study in this area.

He recalled that the first Career and Specialty in Cybersecurity has just been opened in the entire southeast of the country, and is being adapted to local universities with the creation of the Digital Innovation, Design and Manufacturing Academic Laboratories ; Aerospace Design , and Cybersecurity , which are already ready at UPY and UTM .
